On the one hand, it could be good news - more Primeval, with a better budget, and room for more adult storytelling and characters.

One the other... it depends how they're going to pitch it. If they decide to completely turn the established timeline upside down, and imply that the original team were/are not up to the standard of this new bunch, I could get ever so mildly annoyed.

If they explore things like the anomaly spaghetti junction, it could be good. But I hope the new team isn't going to be all young, perfect, air-brushed American types with no personality.

And Space is a Canadian TV channel, so I have slightly higher hopes :-)

I'm sure they've done something else that was quite good, but I can't remember what at the moment.
