I’m so glad that people like my little dolls and snap them up quickly.  However, I am worried about disappointing customers/friends when dolls sell out in less than a minute.

I will always have limited quantity runs of my dolls - I’m just not a high-volume kind of gal. If you saw my ( Read more... )

I know ebay is the suck, but it may be the best option for both you and your customers. You get an option to make the most on your crafty hobby and your pals get a chance to buy something before it's snapped up. You can always try, see if you like it, and if not go back to etsy. Also, I'm in luv with your newest crafty endeavors! I wish I was one of those people who were able to buy a dorry. :)

You might try one on eBay to see where the price goes and consider a price change on what you list in your shop. I haven't even been able to catch what your price point is for these things yet. :D

That said, I would otherwise avoid eBay. Not only do they charge a IMO ridiculous amount there's the seller's fear that goes along with selling a handcrafted item. Or maybe that's just me. ^_^; What I mean is it can be really nerve-wracking when an item you've made gets bid up really high. I always worry the buyer has some misconception about the item or won't be happy with the quality. o.o;

Oh, I know how it is like. I am exactly the same, I can just work for maybe 5-10 minutes then go away and sit with my compy or eat something or, yeah you know what I mean. And queue/big commission load makes me feel burnt out.

So I think Ebay would be best for you, giving everyone fair chance to get a doll.

I think you should get your pals know when you have a batch ready and put them on etsy at a precise date and time just for them. Once you get all your pals settled you can go on selling them on Etsy at your pace and will :D
Just a thought.

Btw I just love everything you do, it's always so well thought and beautifully crafted. It's a gift.
Don't let others speculate on it.
