Someone in class totally asked the question "So how did Aristotle come up with the idea that women are wet?" Oy. I'm sure he wasn't asking if women had similar biology wayway back in Ancient Greece, but I couldn't help but laugh.
In his Problemata he says "Now a man is hot and dry, but a woman is cold and moist". All this stuff about how women are like liquid, unbound, undefined, weird, getting all over the place and overstepping their boundaries and making a mess and scaring the bejeezus out of Greek men. Something I have to read for school. Wacky stuff!
