Arashi (Japan fundraiser fic #3): Where the Heart Is 1/4?

Apr 28, 2012 19:01

Guys, HnA's new houseshare segment is great BUT it gave me QUITE a shock, because the help_japan prompt I'm filling now is about Arashi living in a house together. And even though the houseshare segment isn't too similar to the prompt, the core idea is. After some thought I decided, for motivation/sanity purposes (one week I might go, "wow, this segment ( Read more... )

The houseshare segment is fun and I hope they do a version with all five members together.

I like your version of Arashi living together. I like that there are challeges to be overcomed before they actually lived together. I like even if his idea was rejected, Aiba knew that the rejection doesn't mean they don't love him.

Awww at Aiba. His idea is brilliant but I understand the other four. It is a huge decision and hearing it without warning and having to give an immediate answer is too much.

OMG ME TOO. All five together, don't even need a guest, just keep the cameras rolling and see what they get up to. MY IDEAL SHOW TBH

Yeah, you got it exactly right. I wanted to show that Aiba is really impulsive about things he cares about, and sometimes it backfires on him terribly, but in the end, things do work out for him, because he is the miracle boy, after all. I MEAN. You're not supposed to know yet that everyone does in fact move in together, but WHATEVA it's way obvious soooo...

Thanks very much for a great comment! Glad you're liking it so far :)

FEELINGS, OH GOSH. what a lovely and fun aiba narration--but not fun to the exclusion of emotional development, hence: feeeeeliiiings. i love aiba's justifications, and how he has to contend with his expectations versus reality--and also how the others don't feel like villains or anything for their respective reasons (which, not incidentally, seemed very plausibly them, and omgggggg aiba thinking about them when he buys the house--the plugs in the living room!). oh my gosh am i ever excited to see the rest!

i couldn't quote everything i love (hint: everything) so here is a line i have in my clipboard: "It's like that Benjamin Button movie he saw once with Jun-kun, except with virtues." I JUST.

I AM GREATLY APPEASED THAT YOU LIKED THE NARRATIVE!! Ridiculously so! It's a much more wordy style than I usually use, and might even be uncharacteristically so from Aiba's POV, but IDK I guess it works out okay! I'm really enjoying writing this way, anyhow :P YOUR FEELINGS, THOUGH. THANK YOU FOR HAVING THEM, and thanks for leaving me a lovely comment too! :)
