Oh wow, I was going to whine about wanting to know more about the very long fic, but it would be churlish, since you've given us ChanHo! Hot ChanHo, no less. And adorable TaecJay! Glad that you're finding time to write, because your spies fic is very, very intriguing and I'm really interested to see how you write Junho, because I have to write him soon and I'm scared!

Oh man, you know how to flatter a gal. I'll tell you a bit about it! It's Junho-POV, as you've already established, and 2PM is a spy group. They don't really spy, per se, but are more like secret agents who deal with spies. SO THIS FIC SCRATCHES MY "2PM IN SUITS" ITCH WHAT OF IT Junho goes through 2 life-changing events before the start of the fic, and the story takes place a few weeks after Wooyoung joins as a new member of 2PM. Junho and Wooyoung were childhood friends, which makes it extremely difficult for Junho to make job-related decisions (LOL THIS IS SO VAGUE I'M SORRY) as he uncovers truths about himself, his company, and his team

2PM in suits is an itch that needs to be scratched as often as possible! I wish their stylists agreed. :/ Vague is fine... no spoilers! I'm looking forward to betaing it, though! I really like unconventional narratives, whether they're non-linear or are told from a non-standard POV. And the snippet you posted was definitely tantalizing

I wanted to quote a line I really agreed with re: your description of Junho, but I just agree 100% with all of it. He really is that guy who psychs himself up to say something he thinks will be totally funny, but ends up falling flat (in all these interviews, Junho will tell a joke and no one will laugh, haha T__T). His drive is DEFINITELY something I'm using as a key part of his personality in the fic. Him and Wooyoung both. Wooyoung is always saying how failing simply means that he hasn't practised enough, so I think he and Junho are very similar in the way that they expect effort = results.

the taecjay is so adorable :) everytime someone writes a good taecjay i always gets so nostalgic and everything feels almost bittersweet - even if its a happy piece. lol

I totally agree about TaecJay fics (or any 2PM+Jay fics, really). I don't know how I would write "present day" 2PM without Jay -- I haven't really tried very hard, because they all turn out super depressing. So I guess I'm lucky this upcoming long fic is AU, haha.

im already happy hearing that it's long.. and that its a secretagents!AU :D i always wanted to see them in some kind of mafia!AU that is all dark and twisty yay :)

i guess when you write a pairing centric fics you can avoid the whole 2PM+Jay thing, but if you're writing bandfic is quite hard cos the dynamics kinda shifted around these days. sigh.

OMG I DID TOO. One of my old LJ-friends (I think she abandoned her journal though...) was planning to write a 2PM mafia fic and I was helping her with the plot, and I was SO excited about it (omg you can't imagine the situations I was throwing at her, I was like, "WHAT ABOUT THIS, OR THIS, OR THIS, HOW BLOODY DO YOU WANT IT? BACKSTABBING OR NO? IF YOU DO THIS, ONE OF THE MEMBERS HAS TO DIE I HOPE YOU REALIZE BECAUSE IT WOULD BE SOOO PAINFUL TO READ AND THUS AMAZING" -- in retrospect I may have overwhelmed her a bit OTL). But she ended up not writing it. :'( forever sad

Anyway, I really want a dark and twisty fic too, and THIS fic is definitely supposed to be that, but I realized as I write that I can't not add happy bits to it because that is just... how I write. Hopefully as more of the plot unfurls, things get more depressing though! .....WOW WAY TO MARKET THE STORY, ME
