You have experience with dragons? I never saw any, and certainly no "dinosaurs", so I found them kind of interesting - but I was wary nonetheless.

Haha, true! It's just that - religion says one thing, and then there's superstition and pragmatism.

Thanks! I found it now, and I tried writing with it, but, uhm... I think I'll have to practice a bit more. It looks all crooked.

Yes, and I'm fairly certain that King Neptune--or one of your water dragons, I suppose--wouldn't have any trouble at sinking a ship, regardless of whether or not anyone on that ship believed he could.

There's a trick to it, I've found. You can't press quite so hard with it as you would a normal pen and paper.

... oh. Yes, there's that.

Thanks! I'll keep that in mind. And that after getting used to pens...

It's best to exercise a great deal of caution with deities, in my experience. Some are nicer than others.

Yes, I agree. That's why I went along with last month's decrees - better not to anger them right away.

I did the same. Defiance has its place, of course, but sometimes it's just plain foolish to be so contrary.

Exactly! If the only outcome is to one's own detriment, defiance is pretty stupid.

Particularly when a little creativity goes a long way. A friend of mine managed to make me cry through use of onions, for example.

Hah! I used the same method with my flatmates. Seems like it worked, too!
