Kings Canyon General Grant Grove of Sequoias

I have left this entry public, so be careful what you comment here. Anyone can see it. There are about 70 photos of General Grant Grove in the Kings Canyon National Park. They're so stunningly, magnificently big. It must be so quiet there in the winter!

I had never seen them in that much snow. It feels awesome to be among them. Once there I never want to leave. We really need to be in nature every single day. It is healthy for us. It is how we are meant to be.

Fantastic pics! I chuckled at the snow man by the info boards (and the one on the fence, but the first one amused me the most).

I also liked the series of pics showing the height of the trees.

You mention hat, mittens and scarf, but seeing the trails, I assume you also had sturdy footwear.

I have seen sequoias in the snow in the past, but not sure we went to that particular grove in the winter. I really do love visiting those places. Thanks for sharing your pics.
