*Auspex is attempting to study an obscure text. She is somewhat distracted, still reeling a bit about the recent events, the new friend she lost so soon, and what an enigma he was... as well as the experience of having her innate abilities boosted by a Cybertronian with Mini-Con power-augmenting energy, without the need of the specific port that

His irritated demeanor dissipates and he bows low to Auspex. "I'm sorry, I haven't greeted you properly yet."

Thrust...? Tell me why you have acted in this manner. *her speech is more formal, the sort she uses with someone she's just met... because she's not sure if she really knows what just happened here. Her voice is emotionless; simply soft, and somewhat distant*

*Her voice is somewhat leaden* They are my lord's people, Thrust. They serve as messengers for the Allspark. *Her optics dim* Concerned for my safety? Primus watches over me... how much safer could I be? I am not a warrior, Thrust, but neither am I a fool. He turns for a small moment, then profers a small container of red energon chips. Thrust always brings gifts.

That you had no interest in the well-being of the one who needed you? He most probably was how you say, at one time; I do not doubt that. Even he recognizes that. But he has changed, as people do ( ... )

To be completely honest, people like Starscream, or Galvatron, for that matter, tend to frighten me; Primus knows them, but they are so mercurial, I have trouble following them; they are easily insulted, and unpredictable in their wrath. I never approach that sort of person lightly. I have been pleasantly surprised by the one I know, and how much he has learned. That does not mean I would immediately trust anyone else with that name. But neither will I speak ill of someone I have not met, even if I am acquainted with an alternate ( ... )

What's left unsaid and what Thrust absolutely misses is that Thrust is not one of these.
"I hardly mean to worry you, merely to look out for you. Would you like a treat?"

*Her brow furrows, and she tries to read his intent* What do you mean, exactly?
