Auspex is, as usual, contemplating Primus: specifically, researching an older religious text. She pokes absently at the datapad, somewhat distracted at the moment. She offers a quick prayer, a bit of a mental shrug and apology for not having her mind on her work. The answering whisper from Primus is conciliatory, as she stands and stretches ( Read more... )

Though unseen, Auspex is sure to feel the free spark that's hovering near the entrance to her sanctuary.

Blackstar eyes the structure hesitantly, still undecided if he should go in, try talking to her. He's curious; why had she bothered trying to defend him to the zambonis and Snowkitty? What could she have gotten out of it, anyway? He's just a dead Decepticon, one that had done a lot of Very Bad Things when he'd been alive. A dead mech that seems to baffle the Priestess by not wanting to hang about in the Allspark with all the other dead mechs.

Bah. He was once a Decepticon warrior. A Seeker. Why is he hovering about outside like a factory-fresh sparklet? He settles his expression into one of wary curiosity as he steps into the visible world and into Auspex's Sanctuary.

*Auspex blinks, looking over at the apparently-empty entrance. The sense of emotion, and a nudge from Primus, would indicate otherwise. A free-spark? Or perhaps someone with a cloaking device? Who? There are quite a few choices, actually. She begins to wander over in that direction.

*She blinks again, when the ghost reveals himself* Blackstar? What brings you here? *she's quite amazed, actually... why would he come to see her?*

He's not really sure, actually. Partly curiosity. Partly a shadow of the same discontent that drove him from the Allspark. Partly...

Partly the strange hopelessness he'd felt when the little zamboni mech-lets had started denouncing him. He doesn't even understand why he cares. He shouldn't care. He was a fragging Decepticon warrior for slag's sake. Why the slag should he care what a bunch of little squids that probably never wouldda gotten the chance to live if he hadn't been a slagger and stolen them hate him for having stolen them from their "da" who kept repeatedly threatening to scrap them?

They're not even part of his world. He's not part of theirs. Never will be again.

Even if their world is her world, too ( ... )

*She frowns up at the ghost in concern, sensing his discontent, and this sense of futility, partly directed at the incident in the Nexus with the sparklets, but also at someone else who isn't immediately identifiable, and his entire reason for being here, in the first place.*

*Auspex waves her hand dismissively, as he says something only marginally related to what he's feeling* Snowcat, I think, is starting to understand my reasoning, or at least beginning to understand what wasn't my reasoning. Demolishor... *she shakes her head slightly* He needed only the barest of excuses to develop a grudge against me, and what I did was enough. Telling the zambonis what you did or didn't do will not change that. It is my direct actions that will affect him the most ( ... )

At some point, even a Priestess of Primus must leave her sanctuary. Upon Auspex's return, however, she may notice a slight... difference.

On the floor in front of the mosaic of "The Start Of The Great War", sits a piece of paper with a small piece of dark black crystal weighting it down, holding it in place. Upon examination, it's clear that this paper is a copy only, not the original, but it's a good quality copy. One side of the paper is covered in a drawing scribbled in crayon, and obviously drawn by a very young, and smallish, hand. The other side simply has a small note, two very short words only, neatly written in the Cybertronian glyph shorthand favored by front-line Decepticon warriors.

"It's okay."
