This... has been an utter disaster.

I came home to the lingering traces of Chaos, and much fear and anger. Blackstar had come, to leave me reassurance that at least one of Snowcat and Demolishor's sparklets do indeed understand what he did for them. Apparently, a servant of Unicron had come, to cause mischief in this sanctuary, and Blackstar was ( Read more... )

Auspex's guess, it turns out, isn't inaccurate. Echoshift does indeed return a short while later, mostly out of curiosity to see how -- if at all -- things are progressing.

Having gone out for a brief flight around the area, he now comes back to land on the top of the shallow steps leading up to the temple entrance, fading back into view as he steps through the doorway. He'd decided it was probably easiest just to head back to the area at the back of the main room, but his timing means he happens to bump into Auspex before he gets there. There is, just maybe, the briefest of pauses as he spots her ahead of him and realizes she's already seen him, before he continues heading in the same direction until he's standing next to her.

"Hey," comes the typical (if somewhat quieter than usual) greeting. His gaze wanders up and across to take in the mosaic she's currently inspecting. He trusts her to know what he's referring to when he asks, "How're things?"

*Her answer is somewhat delayed, as she is concentrating on wrapping Primus's power around the Chaos underneath the surface of the mosaic. After a moment, she looks up at Echoshift, fingers still grazing the artwork* Blackstar has gone away, now that he is whole again... Starscream and the others are still here, resting. *And emoting, somewhat painfully.*

*she blinks at him thoughtfully for a moment, attempting to read him* I'm sorry this has been so... bizarre an experience for you. I will answer you what questions I can, if you have any. I'm still trying to grasp it all, myself.

A nod as she updates him. "Crisis over then," he hazards a guess. He glances at the mosaic again. True, there were still some things that needed returning to their former condition, but he doesn't count the remaining bits of Chaos-taint as a crisis. Annoyances that needed to be dealt with (by the Priestess, anyway), but nothing so urgent that it demanded anyone's immediate attention. The actual slag-hits-rotors stage wherein everyone panics seemed to be finished with; hence, crisis over.

Or rather, crisis over for now until next time. There was always a next time. You only have to look back through the last year or so's worth of history to see as much... but there's no need to tempt Murphy so soon after the latest round by saying as much out loud now, is there.

Optics still on the mosaic, Echoshift actually chuckles at what she says next. "'Bizarre's a good word to use, isn't it." His attention moves away from the mosaic and settles on her. The amusement remains. "Though if even you're still figuring stuff out, that does mean my ( ... )

*Auspex doesn't quite smile, but it is a more-or-less positive expression* Yes... the important parts have been taken care of.

*Now, something more like a smile warms her optic-glow, though it's still weak. She attempts to clarify* I don't deal with free-sparks terribly often... and I've never been that close to the Allspark before. It... affected me more than it should a living Transformer. There is new pain, that I did not have before, and I will have to examine it in more detail.

*She looks at the mosaic, fingering the figures portrayed there -- the Transformers, and fleeing Quintessons -- before turning back to glance at him* You've... probably realized that there is more of the supernatural around you than you knew, at the very least. *A smile is still trying to creep onto her face, but never quite making it*
