Enter Bob, exit Threnody's guardian, Cyclonus...

((The aftermath of a semi-recent incident in a TFA reality, In which Auspex is brought someone new to coddle ;}
Also, a chat log, following after this event. Woe and mourning...))
Primus: *pokes Auspex where she's laying next to the sleeping Bob and imparts a feeling of someone gone to her*
Auspex: *after a continuous series of nightmares, Auspex has given up the dashing between rooms, and is staying put beside him*
Bob: *twitches and whimpers as a communicator deedles for attention*
Auspex: *reaches under the carpet to pat his helm soothingly, before finding and answering the offending racket*
Teletraan: Auspex?
Auspex: *tilts head in mild surprise* Blazer? Has something happened?
Teletraan: *tense and terse* Cyclonus died last night.
Auspex: *freezes for a moment, mixed emotions assaulting her. She hisses softly* Oh, no. Oh dear... How are people taking it?
Teletraan: I don't know. Rodimus went to be there. I just found out that he and Panacea knew it was going to happen.
Auspex: *optics widen owlishly* But... *she hesitates, shaking her head slowly* how? Why?
Teletraan: It was the same thing that killed Galvatron... a virus of some sort that Unicron infected them with when Galvatron rebelled against him nearly twenty four vorns ago.
Auspex: *flinches visibly* A virus..? I could see him wanting to kill them, but ... slow-acting death? *she looks away for a long moment, gaze burning bright*
Teletraan: I think it was originally intended to feed him. Only after Starscream's return to life Rodimus and Springer made sure that he'd never come back online. *pause* What are you doing now, sister? Are you busy?
Auspex: *hisses again, muttering something along the lines of 'dark abomination of death' before drawing Primus' calm to herself; she already knows why she hates Unicron, no sense dwelling on it*
Not busy, really, but I'm hesitant to leave; I have a mech in my care, who's been through an ordeal, and is very fearful. He's recharging at the moment, but I do want to be here, should he wake.
Teletraan: *nods* Stay... stay. But please pray for us? Panacea says that we have nothing to worry about from the Galvatronians. But I know that the other Decepticon factions could try to attack now that Cyclonus is gone. *his youth and relative inexperience is showing in the concern in his voice and expression*
Auspex: *sighs softly* I will. I imagine things will be... hectic, for awhile. I worry for Threnody; this will be difficult for her; she is young, and of course, losing Cyclonus... *complicated expression, fading into a grimace* I will pray, for the Autobots, and for Threnody's people. Hopefully, the peace will hold.
Teletraan: I have a feeling it will... but yes. Threnody had no interest in taking the full responsibility yet. And she was very attached to her creator. *pauses as Panacea yells at him in the background* I have to go. Threnody can't play bridge at Cyclonus's memorial, so I will. *slightest troubled look* I love you, sister. Thank you.
Auspex: Threnody is serving..? *she shakes her head a bit* I will ask later, then, when we have time to talk. Be well, my brother, and I'll pray for your strength, to help hold up the others. Remember Primus' peace. *her smile is sad; she's reminding herself, as much as him, if not more*
Teletraan: *nods and smiles for her, the trouble fading from his faceplate as he shuts off the com unit*
Bob: *stirs under his carpet*
Auspex: *takes a moment to get her thoughts in order, give her anger and sadness to Primus, with a heavy sigh, before wandering back to Bob's room to check on him*
Bob: *he's looking at her, his optics fearful, as usual, but also holding something else... concern? Holds out a hand to her without sitting up, asking her to come back*
Auspex: *optics flicker slightly; she's there instantly, taking his hand* Are you all right?
Bob: *wibbles a bit, but tugs on her till she lays down again, and then covers her with a corner of his carpet before snuggling close, offering as well as seeking comfort.*
Auspex: *blinks a bit, but gladly curls her arms around him, resting her head against his helm* Don't worry... you are safe. And thank you.
Bob: *gives his tiny smile and slips back into recharge, radiating a small thread of peace*
Auspex: *returns the smile, reaching to smooth comforting fingers on his helm. She'll watch over him, happily so*
