I know some others are gonna be blowing off the whole going trip to the Ministry as rubbish, but I think it rather neat to visit the UK's version of it. Mostly, it was my parents that dealt with them, and the only other Ministry I ever visited was the German ministry. Rather nice place, the German one.

We do have some free time on the day that we ( Read more... )

Is it still worth dealing with the whole trip if the free time ends up being the only decent thing about it?

Who knows? We could be part of the group that gets to learn about the ministry with the Minister of Magic himself. Not only that, I could take a real good look at the Department of Magical Law Enforcement, the Auror offices, and the Department of Magical Games and Sports.

Got to put things into perspective, you know?

That, and at least I know where I'll be going once we're given our free time.

Ah, you believe in Harvey Dent, then~?

Still, must we spend our free time in the Ministry? It's really not all that interesting that I'd wander it for fun...

Nah, not really. We can just brag about it though, and let those others that really do care just fume about not being chosen to be with the minister.

But it'll be so cool walking around in those places! They'll be there, and we'll be seeing what awesome things they do there, and who knows? Get to talk to one of them!

But for the free period, I was thinking about going to Diagon Alley and getting myself some sweets or ice cream, or something like that.

I do actually have a lot to look forward to lately, don't I? Between the Church trips and the field trip coming up, I'm in pretty high spirits!

That's good to hear. I mean, you'd be here, praying, reading the bible, and learning that sorta stuff all by your lonesome. At least with this, you can listen to a priest and receive your communion like a good Catholic, right?

And yeah, the field trip is something to look forward to, isn't it? I know I am.

Exactly! Church is all about a gathering of people, so it'll be a nice change of pace to have somewhere to bring it all back to each week like I used to before Hogwarts.

I definitely am looking forward to it. I can't wait to speak with the Aurors on active duty right now! I've so many questions to ask...

[Totally ignoring the whole Catholic thing, because lol, Buddhist]

Me too! I just wanna learn what they had to go through in order to get to the point where they were officially called Aurors, their training, the exams that they had to take... everything!
