Despite all these issues, I went ahead and tried to take some pictures. Please remember: the Jupiter and Moon photos are taken while both are very low in the sky: atmospheric turbulence is extreme and some of the seeing, this evening, was nearly impossible. On top of that, the eyepiece that I mount the camera to broke: the threads are stripped
