Yeah, that's how I feel. It's just that the trailer made Aang look like some bad ass warrior and he's a total goof ball throughout 80% of the show. I was hoping for a more Jackie Chan take than a Jet Li one, is that makes any sense.

The racial aspect of it is not clear from the teaser though. I understand getting miffed about it once you read about it, but based on a teaser alone, I don't see how you could dread it. The second and third point you made make sense though.
