Arthur at first came across as spoiled and somewhat of a bully and Gwen called him a "rought, tough, save the world" type of man with Arthur and Merlin (his new manservant) being at odds a lot. But it didn't take long for Arthur to grow attached to Merlin and value his company although he did like to point out at every opportunity that Merlin was incompetent and the worst manservant Arthur had ever seen. Merlin though began to influence Arthur and he slowly became less of a bully and more a man of the people and nicer all around. It's worth noting though that Arthur is very caring; he tends not to put it across or show this around others.
Arthur is undeniably brave and willing to take risks - he put his life on the line to save Merlin and then again to save Gwen and he will speak out against what he considers to be injustice even if that means defying his father, King Uther Pendragon. He loves Camelot and its people and when his actions meant Camelot was cursed, he was devastated by this news.
He can hide his true feelings and carry out orders for his father even if he disagrees with him because he his father is King and Arthur will obey him. Arthur is in love with Gwen and has spoken of this and about her passionately in the past but he had not told her how deeply he loved her. When he finally did, she had no idea as she thought that he thought of her only as a servant but he says that he cannot be with her as she is a servant and he is a Prince and, though he might wish it, he does not believe she will or should wait for him. Merlin is also another person Arthur cares deeply for and this is shown through their banter and insults and Arthur is grateful for his company and the rare moments where Merlin displays what Arthur is loathe to call wisdom.

Arthur is a skilled and experienced swordsman despite his young age and knows how to wield a variety of weapons, command the Knights of Camelot and fight on horseback too. He's great at jousting too and horse riding. Oh and hunting. He's good at hunting.
[Affection] If you are a guy, expect a lot of friendly claps on the arm/back/shoulder; it's his version of the brofist. He's likely to be a little 'whoa there' about too much too soon. Ladies...he's likely to be very courteous and so on. KNIGHTS CODE FTW.
[Fighting] Arthur is just a normal person but he's incredibly fit and a great fighter. For death and injury, IM me/talk to me about it and we'll discuss it but I'd rather not have him killed. He may be injured but still, see me first.
