Warnings: None. Except the cute that is tiny Arthur
Effects: Maybe a little trepidation at the start but ridiculous levels of happiness later
[Leaves crunch beneath the hooves of a horse with a
man coming into view before the camera pas down to show a very small boy in his lap, one little hand on the reins and the other wound into the horse's mane. At every sound the boy turns his head towards it, trying to spot the source - it could be anything. Some angry beast (maybe a cockatrice) or a sorceror come to get them! Magic is evil and dangerous after all.
As though sensing the distress, Uther pulls Arthur closer, ruffling his hair.
"Nothing to worry about Arthur. The woods are quite safe."
"And you'd get anyone or anything wouldn't you father? With your sword."
"Yes, I would." Uther laughs, urging the horse onward and to a small clearing by a river, getting down and helping Arthur down too. For several minutes they're busy setting up blankets until Arthur starts edging closer to the river.
"Arthur." Uther says the name sharply and Arthur turns quickly, innocent expression plastered on his face. "I hope you weren't planning on going for a swim without me."
Arthur beams and steps closer to the edge, the picture of arrogance in training, "Last one in is a rotten egg!" He breaks into a run and Uther's playful shout of 'why you little cheat' is cut short with a resounding splash.]
[There's a loud slosh, water splashing the screen of the Dreamberry as Arthur jerks awake. In his bath. He gets hold of the Dreamberry and sighs. Well, it was going to happen sooner or later.]
Damn and blast. Hope I haven't broken it.
