[For a minute, Arthur sits very quietly at the kitchen table of the cottage, looking off to one side as he sighs. The tone he's using is somewhere between 'upset and doing his damnedest not to show it' and 'clearly not in the mood for any of this'.]

He wasn't in his room when I got up, his stuff was gone and his name isn't on the Dreamberry anymore. [And then there was that feeling you get when someone just isn't there that you can't explain without sounding utterly mental.]

I'm not going to get my hopes up. Besides, better for him to be in Camelot where he belongs instead of in some dream world and I know there are people who can make sure he doesn't get himself killed in Camelot.

[He pauses there and shakes his head, still frowning but trying not to show it.]

Thank you for the offer but I think I need some time to myself just now. As for the horse - I already have Tarrento and this horse will just go to waste so it's better for him to go to someone who'll actually have a use for him.

[Another moment of silence and he sighs.]

Did you know him? [Beyond Jessamine he didn't really keep track of who knew Merlin and who didn't and he isn't really sure if this is just a 'sorry your friend is gone' message or a 'he was my friend too' message and it's awkward enough to record the message in the first place.]

Well, Guinevere cares about him as do some of the newer Knights and I'm sure the others will behave. Leon will make sure of that. And there's Gaius too...Merlin will be fine.

[The awkward, at least for him, increases because while it's rude to turn down hospitality and offers like that, he has no clue who this girl that's trying to make him feel better even is.]

I will be once I've had a day or two to let it sink in. I've got a whole cottage to myself now and no one calling me clot pole or a dollop head.

At least he is home instead of stuck here like the rest of us, but I know it must be troubling, amico.

Are you willing to meet me at the tavern to discuss the horse? Or would you like me to come to you? I feel my sister may make good use of it.

[He doesn't even say anything, instead just giving the Dreamberry a look before returning his attention to the window.]

I'm not really in the mood for going out and if you want the horse, he's yours. You know which one is Tarrento so come by and pick him up whenever you want.

[ Ezio just sighs. Avoidance tactic, huh, Arthur? Luckily he isn't YOU and therefore will not press the matter. ]

I figured as much. I'll stop by when I can, in the meantime try not to get too discouraged.

[Peach seemed shocked for a brief moment. She had just talked to the boy a day before to hand him the deliveries and his payment for them. How was he gone like that?]

My God! He's gone? How is that?

[If she's shocked then imagine how Arthur felt, opening Merlin's door to find an empty bed.]

I have no idea but all his things are gone and his name isn't on the list anymore.
