So how the hell do I cut entries in this thing?

In fact, how do I get the cool pictures next to my name? How do I make my LJ look like the same format as the others i've seen?

1. go here http://semagic.sourceforge.net/ download Semagic. It's the client you saw me using when you were here.

2. find spiffy pics/icons. They MUST be no larger than 100/100 pixles.

3. go to livejournal.com, log in, select (from the tabs at the top of the page) Manage-----userpics

4. Upload your icon(s)

As a free account holder, you may have 3 icons. In fact, I have one you will like. I'll email it to you. :)

Hit the FAQ (Up top of the page, Help>FAQ), that will help out a lot.

Most of what you want to do will be in Manage>Customize. That'll let you choose from some default styles, and if you know HTML Color codes, you can edit those pretty easy. This page is my default "What's the code for this color" page.

Beyond that, have fun :)
