Over-thinking hypothetical questions
Last week I was asked this common hypothetical question: “If you were stranded on a deserted island, and you could only bring one thing, what would it be?” I thought about this for a while and, assuming it was a tropical island, answered, “machete”.

Secret Life
OK, so I'm curious and am registering for Second Life. I saw it on an episode of The Office, and then saw a report on people getting married on the site but not in real life, I became intrigued. But, I have a creepy feeling. Almost like Vanilla Sky meets I,Robot. Like I'm entering into something I shouldn't. Perhaps it is just my addictive ( Read more... ) -
2007 NBA Preview
OK, I started this last year and did fairly well. If you'll notice, I predicted the success of Utah last season. I was correct with my Spurs selection for the NBA Title.
Here's how I think the playoff seeds for each conference will play out.
Western Conference
1. Phoenix Suns

Random Thoughts Lite
National politics are so far out of touch with the local level. I'm not convinced myself, or any of the political strokeI have contacts with in Boise, Pocatello, or Coeur d' Alene are greatly put off by the accusations against Senator Craig. Its opportunistic politics, it seems. I believe, if he decides to seek reelection, he would get nominated ( Read more... ) -
Random Thoughts
- I love sports. More specifically, I love to watch championship events for all sports. The thrill of victory and seeing someone reach the epitomy of their sport, their emotions, their smiles is indescribable. Ridiculous sum of money
An LJ friend of mine asked if you had a ridiculous sum of money, what would you buy? Well, I've come up with a list of 10 things. But you couldn't use on something prudent, no investments (personal I assumed) no donations, no charities.
