I agree with you. It's not like they ask for it, but people who do that shouldn't really be surprised if something bad like that happens to them. I mean.. what were they expecting? That they'd find the man of their dreams by advertising sex? ;x

Thx, hon :) Yeah, I mean I know they're just expressing themselves, but there's a time and place for everything. And a rapist nutjob is more likely to target the one with the 'fuck me' t-shirt than the fully covered up prude =/

Mel, I know that. I'm saying if there was a choice. If like, you being prudish and conservative were there and some slutty chick was behind you, doesn't it seem likely the guy might've gone for the slut instead? Sure, they're gonna do what they're gonna do regardless, but if they had a choice, I'd think they'd go for the one who seems easier or more willing prey.

o.o! Grammatical error. Must delete and retype. XP

I don't think your underwear makes you more likely to be raped, even if it is hanging out of your pants. o.o They should expect to be 'sexually harrassed' though.

xD

Ok, that is more accurate to what I mean. Sexually harassed. Raped possibilities do increase though I'd say. I mean, if there is a rapist out there, would he be more likely to go after you if you were covered up? Or if you had on sexually suggestive attire on? :o

Well, if his (or her o.o!) plan was to rape someone, I don't think it'd matter all too much.

Let me also add, a girl has the right to dress however she wants. It is the sick mind that misinterprets it as someone looking to get laid.

Yup. You and actually all of the victims I know, were not being provacative. Just victims of random violence.

Yes, that's more what I mean. Not necessarily looking for sex, but being expressive. But as I said in another reply, there's a time and place for everything. If you wear a 'fuck me' shirt, it'd be safer to wear it around friends than when you're with a bunch of people you don't know.

Another point I didn't make is that this also deals with teasing and men's weakenesses. Lots of the male population have these egoes and if they feel a girl is projecting herself and he tries to get some but gets none, he'll feel teased, like a fool, and some will seek revenge and attack the female for that. I've actually heard of that happening. But I do think the larger part of the blame is on the guy for not being man enough to control himself. Everyone should be able to wear what they want. But it's just not that simple anymore. Things can happen as a result, sadly.

And yeah, it all has to do with attention. Even expression does, I think.~

First, I gotta say you got balls addressing a topic as taboo as this.

Then I see the 'I did mean they were looking for sex, yeah.' OMFG. They were? Well, how about that shit. I didnt know that by wearing a thong was opening the door to lookin to get laid. Perhaps burlap would be more acceptable?

A person has the right to wear what they want when they want and not have to consider whether or not someone is going to think they are only out because they want to fuck.

Thx x.x Had to clear it up cuz somehow it developed into this.

I know. I know people wear them for comfort and other reasons too. I didn't mean ALL are looking for it. I'm just generalizing, sry o.o
