Alluvial Fan Falls

It's bloody stinking hot here in 'Mogadishu on the Mississippi'¹, and so the perfect pictures to share in weather like this are waterfalls. I didn't see many waterfalls on my trip to dry Colorado, but I did come across one in Rocky Mountain National Park. The Twin Cities are Minneapolis and St. Paul, Minnesota.

*has a sudden, aching burst of nostalgia for Yellowstone Park* It had a lot of boulder-strewn waterfalls like these. I suppose I'll never see it again. Anyway, those are nice pictures, although I've seen you take more striking ones.

It is always good to make Vox Day cry. :) *looks up Doro Wat, shudders* I'll bet that stuff is palate-scorching. I'm a wimp about spicy foods.

I admit that I was taking this when I was dealing with the virus that plagued the last half of my trip. There are better waterfalls to be had than this one, but this one is nicely accessible, which has its merits.
