Re-Emergence

Thanks to everyone for the kind words about my new teaching position. It's going to be a busy summer of preparation, but now that I've jumped through the first round of flaming hoops the real work can finally begin. And I'm also ready to re-emerge from the last month of self-imposed-job-hunting exile and start updating more regularly, contacting ( Read more... )

Thus far I like LA. Except for the freeway and my currently sunburnt nose!I'll know more once we're out of this house, working for the school district, and living on our own. WHEN are you coming to visit????

I know why a mother might leave, I just don't know how she could do it. *sighs* What a terrible experience, but congratulations on the new job.

Thank you about the job. And I, too, can understand the mother's reason. It was just so terribly distressing to witness the fallout . . .

It's thus far an amazing book by my favorite poet . . . every line just crackles with that special something that makes her poetry so great . . .
