They say if you have a friend you have a treasure, but señor mio, you have the National Treasure there! Among the envy-provoking list, I would name Titus, which remains as my second favourite film, and Anguished English: An Anthology of Accidental Assaults Upon our Language, that I should very well purchase for myself, smiling.
I really hope your grandfather overcomes his heart condition. He sounds like a man worth meeting. I wonder if there is something of that cowboyish spirit within you as well. If that is so, I could start devising a private name for you, as Narcissus sounds too vain for a future young-mind shaper.
