In the eternal struggle between myself and Fields Book Store -- pound for pound and title for title the best occult book store in the English-speaking world -- I win some and I lose some. Makes me wonder if they stock Suppressed Transmission. Or if they would, if only it were not under the imprint of a game company.

Triumph of the Nomads: A History of Aboriginal Australia - have you had any chance to form an opinion on the worthiness/useability for gaming purposes of this one?

Nope. I just shelved it in my Australian history section assuming that if I ever need to do something with the topic I now have a book on it. But one can easily come up with plenty of ways to use it, from inspiration for a Dreamtime-based fantasy RPG to material for the natives of some desert planet in exploratory SF.

i saw this in the excellent Topping and Company bookshop in Bath and very nearly bought it

i was trying to mentally balance the blurb mention of BtVS/Charmed with the OUP publisher and failed...

Any thoughts on it?

It's quite good, although far from comprehensive. I relied on it for Bookhounds of London.
