So, Fields Book Store, My Old Nemesis, We Meet Again

Bodhi Tree has a broader scope, and a bigger used section, but Fields has a way deeper bench on most everything, and a better selection of foreign, micropress, and maniacal obscura.

I am torn.

Part of me wants to go to San Francisco and drop oodles of cash at this store. No doubt I would drop a few hundred on books that I would happily have mailed home to me book freight. Hey, I have savings, I can buy more occult tomes!

The other part of me realizes that I have an entire bookshelf full of this stuff and always, slowly, growing. Once you have Pirate Templars, where do you go? Isn't Pirate Templars pretty much the ultimate point? Aren't you, at that point, done?

I know the first part would win, so my bank account is thankful for being on the other side of the country. Unless, of course, said bookstore has a website... which they do, but thankfully you can't buy anything from them online.
