Not to be confrontational or anything, but for much of this, I can't disagree with you more. Around the Horn and PTI are my daily mandatory viewing (even at work; most of the day I listen to ESPN Radio instead), I am thrilled that hockey is gone, and really, Quite Frankly isn't that bad (still not my preferred viewing, but it's almost like hating QF is fashionable; Stephen A. gets a horrible wrap). The ESPN phone is indeed too pricy, and I agree that there is way too much Stuart "Urban" Scott out there, but there are more pressing matters for ESPN to attend to, like (ruthlessly) disposing of Chris Berman, the worst anchor in the history of television.
I actually like PTI and Around the Horn, I just don't think they are worth the gobs of money original programming costs. Though I have a feeling Around the Horn doesn't cost very much. Hockey is a great sport, and they haven't done new things, camera-wise to make it entertaining in more than a decade. Chris Berman > Stuart Scott. Anyone > Stuart Scott. ESPN Radio is terrible besides Dan Patrick, Colin Cowherd is a complete tool who says that Canseco and Orel Hershisher should be in the Hall...and he must be smoking crack. Quite Frankly's format is stupid, and Steven A. Smith is terrible, but the show isn't that bad...it's just puzzling that anyone would think he deserves his own show. I just miss *old* ESPN, the one that actually only cared about sports. And for the love of God, Cold Pizza must go.
