1. I sent off my application to SF State a few weeks ago. I'm feeling pretty optimistic about getting into the program. Also, the program seems to be pretty strong - there's a large proportion of the faculty that gets NSF grants, and there's a good fellowship deal for the masters students. I think this will be a really Good Thing overall.
