Protip: if you want to court a really brainy overachiever, don't segue into "hey wanna go out sometime" territory from talking about how hard math is. It makes you look like an idiot for not correctly reading the flashing neon sign I have prominently displayed above my head that states, "If you're not brilliant, don't bother."

Ugh, I never want to date again. At one point I had tried out an online dating site for fun, and my profile was basically an ode to science and being an atheist. Naturally the guys who responded boasted about their intelligence, but were all religious... or "spiritual". I managed to offend them all pretty quickly ;)
