Ok so this is NOT gonna be a rant. Its my opinoin on this whole OTH thing.
Half my flist pretty much hate OTH. They hate the show, now who really has that much power to hate the show. I could give you a few names. Which I think is stupid. Everyone who "hates" the show is because its not S1 well guess what we are not in S1 anymore. We are in S3 things have changed. If everyone expected that NH when they got married would be perfect and lovey dovey and all the drama would goto the BLP triangle, wow these people are demented. This is a SHOW. People dont realize this, do I think OTH is gonna stay I have my doubts, but utlimatly yes I think it will for at least a year or so. And the anti-Mark bashers on my flist no offense to anyone of you...but Mark deserves so much more than the crap that you guys give him. He is trying to keep his show a success. Maybe not to the posters over on FF but to the rest of the world he is. THERE ARE OTHER FANS IN THE WORLD THAN OVER AT FANFOURM who actually LIKE oh God-forbid LOVE the show. I know people don't know whats its like to LOVE the show anymore. But hell I love the show. Yes it has its ep's where I just wanna scream, but what show doesnt? Now if OTH does get cancelled and you guys expect the cast to move on to bigger and better places. I am sorry thats not gonna happen. Except for Chad. And I dont like the guy, infact there are times I can't stand him. But he and MAYBE maybe I stress maybe Joie with her music. She has an amazing voice. But James, Hilarie, and Sophia..move on and become big huge movie stars "the so called next big things?" I am sorry if you guys really believe that that is insnae. It won't happen.
The way the show is going every one thinks it sucks. I am not gonna ask for reasons, and I know I will be hated already more than I already am. I just wanted to give my opinoin. OTH had the power to be a great show. OTH still has that power to be a great show. I know I maybe the only one who thinks this and if I get comments that disagree with me, hell I know I am. Then you mind as well just dont comment to me. I dont wanna hear your bullshit anymore. One thing I wont have to hear if OTH DOES get cancelled I wont have to see or hear and be apart of the OTH bullshit party that everyone thinks I should be a part of. Oh well guess what, I actually have a brain. I can think for my self.
Mark created this show OTH, he created Tree Hill. He created the best couple that has never ceased to make me cry. He created Nathan and Haley. He created this show with so many different layers. I am in awe whenever I work, cuz I get to be a part of it. He created Nathan Scott (the one of two guys on the WB that when I see them, everything goes away.) the badass basketball bigshot who actually fell in love, got married and got hurt. He created Lucas Scott the guy who I cant stand most of the time, but also has the bigest heart on the show always there to be there for anyone who needs him. He created Haley James (Scott) the sweet "Tutor girl" the girl who loves so much it literally hurts her, she follwed her dreams and couldnt follow through becasue it didnt matter without her husband. He created Brooke Davis the bitchiest cheerleader in TH, the person who didnt want to put her heart on the line and when she did got burned and put her life back together. And last but not least he created Peyton Sawyer who isnt my favorite character but this character has been through so much loss and so much pain and she goes through her life with a smile, and sometimes some crying but who does'nt cry? She is always there for her best friend or a friend no matter who it is. He created these unstoppable friendships who are at the core of the show. These couples who have or havent had the chance to interact. He created the brothers, the brothers who cant get along but when they do always bring a smile to my face. Mark created this show, its called One Tree Hill, its the same show I fell in love on 9/23/03. With the start of this show Mark brought Chad Michael Murray, James Lafferty, Hilarie, Burton, Sophia Bush, and Bethany Joy Lenz into my life, THE HOTTEST cast on televison. The collaberation of these five actors is amazing.
This show means so much to me and I didn't realize how much to right now, and I know I am the only who thinks this.
