BSpears Videos [Part I]

In honor of the new Britney video HOLD IT AGAINST ME coming on Thursday I decided to do a couple posts with all her previous videos (because I love them so)

Baby... One More Time (1998)

I remember when this video came out, the song, the album. I was the first in my school to buy it, I was in the 8th grade and this was the ultimate of cool, filling the void of the Spice Girls, which were the epitomy of cool before then.

Soemtimes (1999)

I don't really like this video, or even this song. I liked it before, I know all the words and everything, and there was a time in junior high when I knew all the dance moves to the video. One day though, while sitting and watching TRL I noticed something. I noticed a girl scratch her crotch right behind Britney's head (1:17, girl in the blue sweatshirt) and now every time I hear this song I think of that. Then I think of crabs.

(You Drive Me) Crazy

Ahhh... I loved this song. Loved the movie. Drive Me Crazy was one of my faves back in the day and this guy I knew in high school (several years later) used to sing it and dance (he knew the moves) in the hallway by my locker (which we nicknamed locker ghetto, the only hallway with a nickname) to cheer us up when we (the girls) were upset. Eventually he pulled several of the other guys into it and they'd do a whole dance routine at lunch in front of the lockers. It became a huge deal around the school, although nobody ever got special performances like me and my two besties.

I don't even really remember this video, don't remember seeing it. I do remember when she got that haircut though.

From the Bottom of my Broken Heart (1999)

It might be an odd thing to remember, but, for some reason, I have this lasting memory of the fact that this video was the first #1 video on TRL for the new millenium (#2 was BSB's Show Me the Meaning of Being Lonely). I loved this video, it was like a little movie, and I loved this song. So much.
