In honor of the new Britney video HOLD IT AGAINST ME coming on Thursday I decided to do a couple posts with all her previous videos (because I love them so)
Me Against the Music (2003)
This came out shortly after I graduated high school, and I have to say, that I wasn't in love with it. For some reason I was in an 'I-hate-Madonna' phase and didn't really like this song for the longest. I love it now, I mean, it's two legends there, battling it out, what's not to love?
Toxic (2004)
This song and this video are fucking perfect. They're why I love Britney and music and music videos. It's a classic video, one of the best and it's a classic pop song. It's perfect. And I remember watching the Making the Video... to this too.
Everytime (2004)
So sad... I know this is supposed to be about Justin, which is so different than the video and song that's by Justin for Britney (which is amazing and more than a little bitter). I know that, originally, it was about reincarnation and Britney died and I really wish I could see that version (although I'm pretty sure I did at one point, before they pulled it and gave us the watered down version).
Outrageous (2004)
This video is a bit odd since it was never officially finished because she hurt her knee while filming it and her tour got messed up because of it. A lot of people think that her new relationship with KFed had a lot to do with it. I didn't really like it because of the hip-hop flavor to it, which didn't really ring true to me. It was a weird style to with for this song in my opinion.
