I have in my possession a flock of 3 female kitties that need homes (elsewise, they'd end up in a shelter--YIKES). These were not feral stray cats or the like. They are domesticated and potty trained

I'd be willing to discuss it with you, but as you and the kitties are in Vermont, it would be hard for me to visit with them and consider it in depth. I will, however, think on the subject.
It's thoughtful of you. It looks like two out of the three are already spoken for (#2 and #3). Not sure what's to become of the little baby one, but if my boyfriend wouldn't kill me, I might even keep her. She's starting to grow on me ...
Nope. And I have the battle wounds to prove it. I was able to clip the nails of the little kitty, as well as my own cat to prevent severe damage, but the older cats would have NONE of that.
They are pretty much just hiding under my bed right now and hissing whenever my cat gets nearby. If they get so they seem like they're going to rumble, I take Mew and put her in her carry cage. She hates it, but it's like a little time-out chair.
I know, I know -- I'm like a ghost of a person. =P School and work have kept me incommunicado, as per usual. I'm sorry. I don't especially like it either. =/
One, I hope you find a home for the kitties. It makes me so sad to think of sweet cats just being abandoned by lazy, cruel owners (that's what happened to the two that Mike & I adopted).
Two, any snarkiness in my last comment in Mike's journal was NOT directed at you. In fact, it made me really happy to see that you included me in your response (..."it might give you & Mags options for your life"...) I care about him so much and am so happy to be a part of his life, and I'm glad that some of his friends can see that.
Right now my people and I are trying to prevent this previous owner from reclaiming the abandoned animals, so the saga is not yet complete. But with how she treated them, and with a little help from my friends lawyers we might be able to save them yet
