so, my parents are in holland on their way to brazil to househunt, meaning i'm the adult in charge of my siblings. and guess what happens? the school enver bothered to inform me that you have to apply for a student visa from your country of residence. being on a tourist visa here, means that is technically the US. 3.5 weeks from classes starting,

i'm serioiusly freaking out, ray. it's not cool. daddy said that i should prepare myself to not go....but the embassy in san fran said i have to apply here, and i think if i can get that in writing, the embassy here can't turn me down. my next step is breaking into the ambassador's office and begging. like, crawling on my hands and knees type begging. i'm going back on monday and demanding to talk to people's bosses and seeing what can happen. i mean, yeah, i miss the burg (well, mostly the people in it) but i dont' want to give up spain! this has been my dream for freaking 13 years. i won't let them take it away.

I've had really good luck with an embassy in an emergency with MUCH less time. I am really optimistic that things will work out for you.
