So, Mal was reading Amitav's latest book (and yes, since he's a friend of Mal's family, I have started referring to him using only his first name...what an awkward habit!) and looked at me with a really sad face and said, "He's killing them off!" Now, I haven't read it yet (The Hungry Tide in case you were wondering), and I'm supposed to read this

Me too, but damn you'd think after 9 years in Asia I'd know somebody like that. But nooooo....my dad had to pick a boring profession! Haha
