It's the second week of school. I should not already feel like it's going to get the better of me, or that I fail as an Anthropology major. Symbolic is kicking my ass. I present tomorrow (aka before most people will read this) and I want to scream. Am I supposed to talk for 15 minutes by myself about Turner, or am I allowed to try to get other ( Read more... )

First I want to say: awwwww, your mom reads your blog? That's really sweet. I wouldn't want my mom to read mine b/c I talk about sex too much.

Secondly, don't freak out. You're supposed to get other people to talk, so have questions ready. Also, over half your grade in that class is contingent on your final paper, which YOU have control over (yes, Huber has the power to grade it, but still). And I got a B on the paper and still got an A in the class.

You'll do fine.

But only because I am sure she is tech savvy enough to have a super secret blog somewhee in cyber space she'll never tell me about and where she can write whatever she wants--like how much it bugs her when her mom reads her blog... :)

What Jenny said. Huber can look through your soul, yes, but she can tell if you're in the game seriously, which you are. It's puzzling how fast 15 minutes really are from when they're considered to when their experienced.
