my grandma passed away on my birthday.

it feels weird when friends message me "happy birthday!! may your day be filled with happiness and your year be blessed with joy and blahblahblah" and i'm like hmmmm. should i tell them my grandma just passed away so there's not much to celebrate? anyway i decided against it coz it'll make them feel super
