After talking to Tara and Ten, Bruce called Emma. Her telepathy might help, and he missed her.

When she didn't pick up, he left no message but his number. She'd know who it was.

"Hey, Princess, it's me. I miss you. No pressure on that decision, but I'd still like to see you. Can I take you to dinner?"

Emma got the message as she was exiting the Library, working late to make up for her insane absences. She hit the speed-dial.

"Prince," she purred. "Dinner sounds lovely, if you don't mind spending it with a working girl, that is. Where and when?"

"Princess, I'm sorry I haven't called since the Ball. It's been a long few days. I'd like to see you. I have plans for coffee in the morning at the Planet, but we could meet after, go somewhere private and talk. Yes, talk." He smiled into the phone, knowing she'd hear it in his voice. "If the talking goes well, we can move on to other, sweeter things."

A pause, and then, "I'll have my cell. Call me."

A JamPony courier arrives at 13 Nocturne Ave. Bobby, enlisted in Tara's service drops off Emma Frost's Bouquet, requesting a confirmatory signature and taking a quick snapshot of the recipient with a disposable camera before moving onto his next job.

"I always make it good, except when I'm bad then I make it great. But for the purpose of this message I'm making food. Lots of food on Sunday. A good friend from where we came from has recently moved to Tropolis and Aziraphale and I are throwing a cook out in her honor and also, just to party! There is free food, free beer and MacArthur has one of their concert series playing on Sunday so free music as well. The doors will be open all Sunday, Emma and we'd love to see you if you have some time and want to stop by!"
