Emma stood at the balcony, looking down over the apartment. It was clean, tidy, save for the scattered beanbags and couches. She descended the stairs, double-checking everything was as it should be. On the table next to the projector's DVD drive sits a pile of DVD's.

From Emma's collection we have Slashdance, Loosefoot, The Luncheon Club and Beefies. Toss in your own, take a seat and snark/popcorn at the screen.

Tara laughs when she sees that somebody else also brought Slutty Samba, and makes an executive decision that it will be the first movie.

"Of all the ugly-duckling to princess movies, this is one of my favourites," Tara admits, as Doll grinds awkwardly against Tommy in the back room, where she first discovers the Slutty Samba. "Because she wasn't 'ugly', she was just... not confident. I get kind of angry when we're supposed to believe this plain girl suddenly becomes beautiful - mostly by brushing her hair, taking off her classes, and learning how to apply makeup. I mean, it doesn't do any favours to anyone, you know?"

Kiki hadn't yet seen Tara again since arriving in Tropolis, and it was a good time now to say hello.

"Professor McClay?" she said automatically. "I mean - Tara?" Kiki gave a little smile. "It's nice to see you again!"
