I think this might just be my favorite part -- the way Ben is so, so great about taking care of Leslie is so lovely and sweet and nerdy. Of course Leslie doesn't want to go to sleep, and he's so gentle and perfect with her. And the last line! The last line is magic.

You are so good at setting the scene! I adore the way you described their positioning when they get into bed. It is so easy to SEE the scene, which makes it all the more magical. :)

Oh, thanks, that's really interesting to hear. When I'm editing I'm always trying to be specific without adding a boatload of boring details, so I add, and remove, and add, and remove... thanks for letting me know it worked for you this time!
