Ok, the last few paragraphs made me think of my dad and then I started to cry.

But before then--loved the Ben and Donna/Tom interaction. I've missed that the past couple of episodes. I want to go to Tom's imaginary hottest dry iciest party. Also, I think Leslie may inspire me to get rid of some of my junk (I also cannot get rid of birthday cards, glittered or otherwise).

Oh, dear, crying... I don't know how to feel about that. I hope it was cathartic crying and not super-sad crying. I'm sorry about your dad.

I will confess that I save all birthday cards. I have some sympathy for Leslie here.

My dad passed away about 6 1/2 years ago, so I don't cry very often about it any more but sometimes I read things and it just sparks memories, you know?

I actually like birthday cards more than gifts. I'm a horrible gift selector but really good at finding the right cards for my friends.

Yeah, I haven't lost anyone that close to me but that is how it happens, with any kind of grief, I think. I'm doing some work in my professional life that has to do with trauma and grief (research) so maybe that's why it emerged here...

Be good to yourself!

I know, right? But more fun stuff for her is ahead.

Aww Leslie. The end of this was so sad. Also I love how you got Ann's (justifiable) annoyance in there as well as Donna noticing their lack of subtlety. Ndand ron and Tom! Basically I really like this and you're doing a great Job at keeping with the tone of the show.

Thanks! There will be more of everyone and I may even get Ben and Leslie in the same room again at some point. Possibly with feelings Although given what the show itself is up to I am not sure I can compete!

I always assume crappy spelling is due to phone posting!

Donna/expensive foot cream is totally my new OTP.

As you know, I am super excited to see where this goes.

I will try to write a scene where Donna makes out with her foot cream just for you... Wait, that came out wrong.

I really like how you are incorporating the point of view of other characters - especially Ann for whom I will always champion more "screen time" in any story.

I also thought the last scene with Leslie sorting through her things was a good way to "show" where you have her character.

Can't wait for more!

Thanks for that! I am extremely excited about some plans I have for Ann, actually. I had nothing and then it just all came together and just had to be Ann.
