Also, is it wrong if I wanted them to just think "forget Chris!" and get to "watching documentaries"? ;)

Love this one. Those were the good 'ol days when only a room and a nosy boss kept these dorks apart! Did you really figure out what is on the TV in that scene? I always wondered what that was.

Thanks! And I now think I'm wrong about what they were watching. I'd rewatched to write this fic, but I saw some things in a later rewatch that I didn't notice the first couple of times, and now I think it's much more contemporary. I don't have cable, so I don't watch Discovery/History/whatever else.

It's also one of those details where, right or wrong, I would edit it out if I were posting it today. But then I always find details like that.

Oh I'm glad that you kept that detail in there. One of the hallmarks of a great fic for me, is wanting to go rewatch something after I've read it to see if it is from the show or from the authors brain. And I did that with this btw, and I hve no idea what they were watching either.
