Thanks m'dear, will likely send you and Louise the lines and then just pick who I think fits better. I hope that's okay! :D

Like I said to Kit above, is it okay if I send lines to you and her, that way I can see who is a better fit? :)

For the Skit Writing panel, please include a "Top 10 Skit Concepts That Have Been Run Into The Ground And Are Therefore Not Funny, Clever or Even Vaguely Interesting Any More" list.

A few to start you off: "Hare Hare Yukai", "Stephen Lynch's "If I Were Gay" sung by two characters that you ship", "Yaoi Yaoi Yaoi Yaoi Yaoi LOL".

As for what I'd expect it to cover... basic structure, how to get inspiration, most common mistakes made and how to evade them, how to tell if it's actually funny and/or entertaining and how to best integrate recorded stuff (including video) with live stuff (including how to co-ordinate things with the convention tech crew to make sure everything runs smoothly).

Lol, that list much upset a few people in the panel or afterwards though. I don't want to cross across as an elitist, I have that problem regardless!

However, I do get the point. ;)

Thanks for your thoughts too :)

Well, the nice way of saying that is "Be original". Including skits that you might have seen in other countries.

Well, I really only use Audacity and Premier, but I will probably discuss audio stuff and can throw in some recommendations. :)

I suggest covering ideas where you can pull inspiration, obvious pitfalls to avoid and general suggestions about audiance and composition (length, style of jokes, etc..). Perhaps show some skits that were successful and explain why (A bit of a variety, maybe something the Kuroshitsuji one from AX to show good choreography, something equally good to show humor, assuming you're not planning to do the whole thing about lulzy skits, which would also work!). If you want to you could maybe show some legendary fails, but make sure they are all outside the UK and even then that's getting a bit...

As Redkun said, cover pre-planning, how important prerecording is and the impact good use of video et al. can have.

Top stuff Chief.

I might not show some example skits, but we shall see. :)
