LOL to your Homer issues. He is very annoying.

Poor Stuart. My mom ropes my hubby into anything tech-related, but she appreciates everything he does. His own mother ropes him in on tech and work stuff, even though his 25-year-old brother still lives at home with her, as does my father-in-law, though THAT relationship puts the 'd' in dysfunctional. And she bitches about the job he does too. He used to take it to heart but now he just tells her to "have Nicky or Dad do it, or do it yourself!"

At least my mom says thank you. LOL!

We actually get a 'reward' out of it. Normally my Mum ropes him into it when we mention 'oh, we're going to get a new mattress for our bed this weekend' (as in the case of the sanding) and she'll say 'well, if you want...' and even though we know we don't want, and we'd rather just buy the damn mattress ourselves (because, hey, who doesn't like lying on lots of beds?), Stuart ends up agreeing.

I <3 The Simpsons. Maybe it's just the male mentality but I find Homer so stupid and moronic that it makes me feel better about myself. Because even I'm not that dumb.
