I survived the grand high poo-bahs' visit to my office.

And I didn't smoke.

I'm lusting, though. Ohhhhh smokey, smokey, smokey. How I adore thee.

Oh, and apparently the CEO and I could quit and the company could keep running without any problems.

I have been thinking more and more about chucking it in too... I can see me constantly posting to lj to have something to do with my hands. See I don't actually smoke that much so the biological addiction woulnd't be hard to break, but I am totally psychologically addicted and never ends... There were two times in my life I quit (I started smoking at age 10). Once lasted for five years before I got drunk and screwed up.... the second was in a relationship with this guy who I totally fell in love with and I quit while I was with him... soon as we broke up I was back on them. So yeah psychological addiction is my problem :)

As for fag over fuck, they say the quicker the gratification the more it pleases at this point in time for you. SO I wouldn't be surprised if you'd prefer it over sex :)

I post to lj with all my bitching about it! Good luck with quitting, too. I started at 14, starting at 10 sounds really horrid. Gah, you must have been some ten year old!:)

Actually, since quitting, all I want to do is daydream, eat chocolate, and get grumpy. That could be the Zyban, though.

I don't know if I want to use patches etc to help me quit. I think I'll go see my Dr in a couple of weeks and talk it through with him. I am due for an annual check up at that point so may as well get it all out of the road.

As for 10, well it was also the age I did drugs and got drunk a bit too. Got out of it all at about 13 due to a particularly bad experience waking me up. But then again I looked like an adult very young and was getting into pubs by age 12. Started smoking and drinking again 17/18, but have only done pot again prolly about 5 times. It makes me sleep so I tended to use it when I had insomnia too badly. Haven't done it since finding out I was pregnant though, even though I still sleep badly now :)

You're so good getting annual check-ups. But damn, I can't believe the stuff you did at 10. I did that sort of crap at 14, which is light years older in terms of kiddie years!

I started getting in at 14, not 12! I quit because of bad experience, too.

If I ever go to Australia, I'm worried.

I'm going to meet Michael, who will punch me because I'm the reason Taylor singed his balls.

Then I'm going to meet Stu, who's going to jump me get jumped by me. And you'll be left on the sofa watching Barney with Paddy. Because I'll be damned if he sees Daddy and Evan 'playing' in the bedroom.

I smoked for a breif time in my life but I stopped... I never got addicted to it really so I could just not buy anymore
