I've realised that the vast majority of teenagers really, really, really piss me off.

As do the vast majority of people in general, but yeah. Was I that dumb as a teenager? Probably:( I'm probably still that dumb ( Read more... )

Um. Well I've never been to any of those places. But we have a lot of clients that are from Acacia Ridge, and they're all rich so it must be a nice place. Whenever I think of Archerfield, I just think of the Speedway.

Acacia Ridge is nice, but there's little public transport and a chunk of it is industrial, although not smelly yucky industrial. It's not that expensive though. I used to temp there when I was preggers, at one of the car manufacturers' qld office/distribution and training centre.

But damn, I want to know if Archerfield is good/bad/okay. We don't even get to go to the speedway *cries* because Stuart hates it, so I wouldn't have a clue.

GAH!!! Useless! Useless I tell you!;) (I'm teasing).

Of course you piss me off. Do I piss you off? Of course. We're dickhead Queenslanders (okay, you're a Kiwi...that explains it).

Which character lives there? I wish I could help you. Let me know if you and Stuart decide to move to a NY suburb. THEN I could help you. LOL!

Kurt lives in Archerfield. I get the impression it's neither a bad neighbourhood, nor a rich one.

The chances of us moving to America are exactly zilch. Spare me the need to go to Uni. I don't know about America, but in Australia I swear 98% of courses are so ridiculously impractical or just cover things you learn in the first six months of a job. Pointless, expensive, boring and useless:/

LOL! I believe I said it's necessary to have a degree. The actual classes are extremely pointless, for the most part. Unless you study something useful, like computers, the material in and of itself won't get you anywhere. However, without the stupid piece of paper, employers are less likely to hire you. Stupid system, really.

A lot of degrees I read about Americans doing would serve only to get you in the dole queue here:/ We have a lot more emphasis on traineeships and apprenticeships, too. The public service likes bits of paper, and so do some private places, but it's definitey not a necessity. I have no idea why I bother studying. It's not as though it's taught me anything useful.
