This city is the Mainland too, or are you just that awful at geography? ...Unless you meant the great wilderness outside the city or something. In which case, gotta say it's a lot fucking better than this cramped hellhole they call a capital.

If you crossed water, then you probably went to an island, not the Mainland. Big fucking difference in size. Either that or you crossed a sea and went to another country and then you're an idiot because you couldn't tell you weren't in your own country anymore. I'll not even get started on how it seems likely that you don't even know where the very city you live in is located on a map, because if I do, I'll likely get depressed with life.

Home is...always a thing that one can miss and wish to return to, but you're missing out on life if that's all you have an interest in.
