Back when I was still in high school I was taking a martial arts class called ninjitsu. One day my partner and I were practice stomp kicks, they actually have a name but for the life of me I can't remember what it is.  Basically the kick is done by hitting your opponent with your full foot kind of like when you stomp your foot on the ground, hence
