Recent events
Today has been a crazy day and I haven't been able to stop and think much over the past few well, weeks, actually. I run with the 'thought police' too often to let myself actually just think anything, and I miss thinking, or more especially just being. Haven't done that in a while....... . There has been some bad news in our family. Someone is ill, probably quite seriously, and if t is what we think it is (ie, fatal), then it will have knock-on effects for about a dozen people. It will put 2 people at serious risk of a nervous breakdown, one much more so than the other. Some decisions are going to have to me made re: the will of ( Read more... ) -

Journal hiatus is probably ending soon. This means a big overhaul of my profile statements, LJ background/design, friends filters and some other stuff. I'm just not upto doing it today. Leaving
I know I do this every few months and rarely stick to it, but I need to take some time away from LJ, and I mean need. I reckon I spend at least 20+ hours a week between LJ, facebook and GodlyGals. Just those 3 sites as well, not randomly browsing the internet. I'm getting ill, plus I need some time to be looking for a job now.

So. Christmas day
is over now. I didn't enjoy it very much, nor was I profoundly moved by anything or neither did I think of things I'd never thought about before. I went to church today just because I like going to church and that's it. Mostly I've been sad and lonely and more than anything, just tired.
