My printer colour ink cartridge has run out but still got full black one in there, but it is refusing to print all together. I've changed the print setting to black ink only but alas, it still won't print, any ideas what I'm doing wrong anyone?

What’s the make and model number?

its an Epson Stylus C62.

the ink cartridges are chipped and the Epsons need a full bank of them to operate as they tend to use the color cartridges for black as well, try going into properties to change the black ink settings so it's using black only.

third party C62 ink is cheap nowadays, that's why I bought one (although my sister nabbed it.)
