Hotlinking!!

Last night I found out that quite a lot of my images on Magical Moonlight are being hotlinked! I didn't know where I could see that before, but last night I looked a little closer at the stats and I'm in shock!

I remember someone using a code that replaces the hotlinked image with a graphic that says "stop hotlinking you bitch" or something like that. I don't know how to do it though, but that can be one solution.

Someone hotlinked one of my pieces, and I replaced it with porn muahahahaaa! I did have to replace the code on my site tho cos... well I didn't want porn to show up there hee hee.

I have no idea how to find out if people are hotlinking my stuff... how did you do it?

I didn't know about it either before... You use b-one too, right? Even if you don't, its probably the same... If you go to the stats of you site, you will get a graph and a list of months. If you click a month you will get more details about that month. Click the [URLs] link and then the [Referrers] link then you will get the list from the pic I posted... There can be some linking from google and if you have anything you hotlink yourself it wil probably be listet there as well. If there are people who hotlink you see a link to their site...

I figured I could find it in admin panel cos I remembered that you also use b-one. I had alot of myspacers on that list. I fixed it though but it sucks cos I now have to upload all the icons I've posted in my icon journal to photobucket and then edit the links... luckily I haven't been the best to update it ha ha.

I wanted to put up a "nice" message to the hotlinkers but I decided against it, cos it might appear on BW aswell and I don't feel like that happening...
